Welcome! To Seleraku | APPETITO, a food blog on Asian and Western Cooking Recipes.

Today, let me share with you with one of my favourites Malay desserts, Kuih Seri Muka or Sri Muka (Malay: Pretty face). Kuih Sri Muka or kuih hijau (green) or Kuih Salat is a two-layered dessert with steamed glutinous rice forming the bottom 1/3 and 2/3 a green custard layer made with pandan juice (hence the green colour). Coconut milk is a key ingredient in making this kuih.
